I recently became involved with the organization Dress a Girl Around the World, which is a division of Hope 4 Kids International. My friend Tricia started a chapter here in Lake Charles. Our mission is to sew simple "pillowcase" dresses for girls around the world. I made two at home, then we had a sewing day last Saturday. We did assembly line style dress making. It was a lot of fun and we made lots of dresses. It was a blessing to be involved!
