Jenna's Keepers at Home Banquet

We all attended Jenna's Keepers at Home year end banquet on June 10th.  I awarded her with silver pins standing for all the things she learned about throughout the year.  We are so proud of her!

IT"S A BOY!!

Well, this was the day of our ultrasound...IT"S A BOY!!!  The girls were jumping up and down and screaming in the exam room! 

Emily is 4!!

Yes, I am super late posting this, but Emily had a great 4th birthday.  She celebrated with a Tinkerbell birthday party with family and a few friends.  Our little girl is growing up!!

I know I am so behind on posting...I really do intend to catch up on pictures soon.  We have some good ones to share.  But in the meantime, I wanted to share our news of today.  We had our 20 week ultrasound today...and it's a BOY!  The girls were so excited...they were jumping up and down and screaming in the doctor's office.  Derek and I are thrilled as well.  I had dreamed it was a boy, but I wasn't sure if that was just me hoping or if it was really meaningful...now I know!  So, I guess now we can get busy making plans for the nursery.  Here are a few pics from the ultrasound.

Still here!

Yes, we are still here!  I am now 12 weeks pregnant and still hoping the nausea goes away soon!  I have still been fulfilling cake orders, although it has been very difficult.  Homeschooling has been pretty hit and miss, but I am thankful for the flexibility.  I had a doctor's appointment yesterday and he said everything looks great.  The baby was so active that we couldn't hear the heartbeat with the doppler, so he did another quick ultrasound to listen in and check the progress.  Still amazes me every time to see that little life on the screen!  Well, hopefully I will start posting a little more often now...we will see!

Our Family is Growing!

We just found out last week that our family of four will now have one more!  We were very surprised, but we are very excited!  God has a plan!!  I have my first doctor's appointment on March 17th, and my due date is October 28th.

We waited to tell my mother-in-law in person...she was coming in town last Saturday to watch Jenna cheer and celebrate her birthday a few days early.  I made a birthday cake for her and included the surprise on the cake.  It was a fun way to tell her!
